Paul and Judi
We first met 2 years ago at the Log Cabin in Ahualoa.  They were a couple with similar plans - they've
decided to make Hawaii their home and have just purchased a 12 acre parcel of land in Laupahoehoe.  It
turns out that their future home was only a couple of miles from the farm we eventually bought!

We've kept in touch with them through their adventure and have found inspiration in their journey.  They
recently moved to Hawaii and are building a grand home on their property.  It will be a fine one (these guys
have a lot of class).  It's been inspiring to see their progress.  In just a few more months, they will be 'stylin'.
Their home's construction is chronicled on their website -
shalomharanch.com.

Life's a beach...
During our visit to the Big Island in October 2003, we spent several days at their temporary home and went
on a couple of trips to the beaches.  Here are some pictures of our beach outings.
